A beautiful old school house needed a sympathetic treatment to the hard landscaping to reflect the red brick and black beams of the property. Antique red brick paths provide a functional route around the house and garden and a Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’ hedge screen the house from the lane.

Careful planting around the unsightly cesspit helps to screen the area and doesn’t limit access. A mix of shrub and herbaceous planting in a cottage garden style creates interest along the path leading to the sunny lawn and dining area.
